Guess who’s on the cover of the November issue of Playboy? It’s Simpsons matriarch Marge Simpson!

The November cover features Marge Simpson sitting on a chair withe distinctive Playboy Bunny logo. The issue marks the 20th anniversary of The Simpsons. Playboy magazine hopes to attract a wider audience with the mom of the most dysfunctional family in America on the cover.

“We knew that this would really appeal to the 20-something crowd,” said Playboy spokeswoman Theresa Hennessey.

No one knows how Marge will be portrayed in the issue, but “it’s very, very racy,” said editorial director James Jellinek. He added: “She is a stunning example of the cartoon form.”

The edition goes on sale in the US on 16 October, but subscribers to the magazine will find their copies have a more traditional live model on the cover.
